Physicians, Dentists, and Nurses can receive loan repayment credit by the National Health Service Core for being employed by CHSI and two types of Loan Repayment Programs:
:California State Loan Repayment Program provides health professionals who commit to practice in approved medically under:served areas, within public or non:profit sectors for a minimum commitment of two years.
:Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) is for candidates employed by a public service organization defined by the PSLF conditions who are a full:time employee (30+ hours per week). Loans under the Direct Loan Program are eligible for forgiveness under the PSLF program after 10 years of repayment.

:Must be a graduate from an accredited school of medicine recognized by the California Board of Medical Examiners; M.D.
:Must be Board Certified or Board eligible.
:Must hold a current license to practice medicine in the State of California.
:Must have a current DEA certificate
:One year of experience in Internal Medicine. Five years of work experience as a Physician and two years in management required.
:CPR Certification required and ACLS Certified preferred
:Fluency in English required; Fluency in Spanish is an asset for this role and is highly desirable
